Beanisu

SINGLE SEATER JAPANESE INSPIRED

Beanisu model is inspired by “Zaisu”, a traditional Japanese chair with no legs but a normal chair back. It is used commonly in Japan, particularly in houses with traditional Japanese-style rooms with low tables and sitting on a floor of tatami mats.

Beanisu is designed for comfortably single person use with 70cm-Width size, which is larger than normal Zaisu(50cm-Width). Beanisu shine in various areas like living area, dining area, reading area and also relaxing area in the bedroom. These are matched with Beanisu’s light weight, making it easy to be moved around.

LOW-SEATING SOFA FOR SOLO / COUPLE USE

Beanisu XL was designed as a request from our customer who is decorating an area within split-Level home. The requirement is to have a sofa that not only can fit 2 people but also fit with the area without taking too much space.

Our solution to that was BEANISU XL, the larger sized Beanisu. Combining the charm of low seating chain that rhyme well with split-level space and the size of a small sofa. We introduce a low seating sofa that is sizable enough to be noticed, but doesn’t stand out too much. The seating is perfect for two people to sit side-by-side exchanging notes or enjoying movies together.

The XL was originally designed for couple who live in condominium and would like all their furniture to be movable for cleaning, including the main Sofa piece. With the additional value of fabric texture and a matching foot stool, the XL has become one of our most popular product.

The XL double the size of the Bean-Couch. It can support 2 adults up to the upper neck area. And we designed in a way that it can be enjoyed simultaneously.

This will fit well with the living room/area that has regular re-arranging, Lobby or common area that would like to inspire creativity and playful nature.

Years into our business as a bean bag designer, we come to learn that there is a lot of love for our bean couch when it come to single seating in a comfort corner.

We also learn that for some of the users who adopt the more modern style of decoration are looking for the same thing, but with a more curvy design for their space. A place of, coziness and solitude. Hence, we come up with a futuristic name of BEAN POD.

The BEAN POD come with handle at the top for and even ease of use when you are moving it around and the reinforced side stiches are there for both the longevity and the aesthetic of the BEAN POD.

PICNIC is our best selling model. It is a respond to the ask from designers who are looking to breathe new life into their beachside project. Beach chair is doing the job just fine, except that it’s not very modern looking and not really movable for guests who would like to sit next to each other.

PICNIC design is to make the area standout. Like calling out to guests to come here and do the usual SIT // POSE // CAPTURE // SHARE. PICNIC is a perfect furniture for the designer of pool villas, boutique hotel, garden cafe, rooftop bar and balcony.

Our fist model ever in production is aimed to make a circular shaped furniture. Round shapes enhance visual interest and add softer, more organic feel to a room’s character. We like teardrop but not the fact that the top part always felt left unattended.
